Chris is a nurse and has had a passion for photographs since she was a teenager. She has admired, read and attended short courses about photography over the years, experimented with camera techniques. She lived and worked in the U.K for a few years and decided to migrate to Australia, Melbourne in 1986. She finally decided pursue her interest in photography by formal studies at Photography Studies College in South Melbourne in 1992. It was there that she discovered alternative printing processes in her research for her final year folio. She fell in love with the Bromoil process in particular. She has participated in exhibitions around Melbourne and overseas and run workshops in the process. Her photographic work now is almost exclusively in the Bromoil process.
