Exhibition
"IN A WORLD OF THEIR OWN"
by
Bronwen CaseyEFIAP MAPS SSVAPS
This framed exhibition will be held
at the Melbourne Camera Club.
A selection of Bronwen's photography
will be on display but, most especially, the exhibition will feature the full
set of original prints with which
Bronwen was awarded her
Master of the Australian
Photographic Society in 2008.
This set of images is about people. Not just portraits of faces but a portrayal
of an aspect of their lives or the world in which they live. Anything from the
way they earn a living to their hobbies or their daily life. It is about the
person beyond the face that you see.
The set of colour images encompasses individuals from
across the world, a cross section of people in different nations with different
cultures. The supporting monochrome set is once again people but focuses
specifically on the people of China. It captures them in their daily lives,
from the fields to the streets. The colour and monochrome sets each have a
slightly different focus and a different style of composition. Both are about
people in a world of their own.
