The next MCC monthly outing for all MCC and CCC members is on Tuesday 6th of September to the Ballarat International Foto Biennale.
The Ballarat International Foto Biennale celebrates photography with a diverse program that showcases the work of high calibre national and international practitioners. Most of the Core Program exhibitions are staged at venues in and around Ballarat's Arts precinct, all within five minutes walking distance of each other and close to the train station. Entry to these venues is free of charge. For further details and locations, visit: www.ballaratfoto.org .
Meet at 10:50am at the Cafe inside the Art Gallery of Ballarat, 40 Lydiard Street or thereafter at The Mining Exchange, 12 Lydiard Street (where programs are available at the Information Kiosk) . As there are several venues to visit (including lunch), we suggest everyone brings their mobile phone to stay in touch with the group.
Folks wishing to travel with the group by V/Line train should meet at the Southern Cross Station (Spencer Street) at 9:00am for departure at 9:07am. Return tickets cost $21.60 (or $10.80 concession). Information: www.vline.com.au
Alternatively, the next V/Line train departs Southern Cross at 10:07am, so any latecomers could catch up with the group about 11:50am in or around The Mining Exchange.
Group co-ordinator John Adlam can be contacted on 0407 874 001 to confirm the joining arrangements.
Return trains depart Ballarat at 3:08pm and 3:58pm.
A great day is anticipated for all !
