The Glennie Nature Competition 2018

The Melbourne Camera Club congratulates the following members who won an award and gained acceptances at the The Glennie Nature Competition held in U.S.A

Lesley Bretherton’s image “Jokulsarlon Lagoon Midnight” won Best in Category - Landscape.

Jane Barnes’ image “Say Ah” received a merit in Reptiles.

Tuck Leong’s image “Crepidotus Nephrodes” received a merit in Botany.

Marg Huxtable’s image “Soldiering On” received a merit in Marine Life.

Annette Donald, Sue Rocco and Kees Zonneveld also gained  acceptances with their images.

The Melbourne Camera Club has been successful as one of the top Diversity Clubs in the George W. Glennie Memorial Nature Salon run by the Merrivack Valley Camera Club, MA in the USA. The Glennie is an International Club Nature competition, individuals cannot enter.

To be considered for the Diversity Awards, MCC had to have at least one entry in all 8 sections.  Each club could enter 10 images with no more than two images per photographer. MCC was represented by 10 of its members.
