MCC monthly photowalk community will be teaming up with MCC's Traditional Darkroom and Printmakers Group for an excursion to Bendigo. The highlight will be Bendigo Tramways Museum and its facility.

This excursion is open to all photography enthusiasts with any camera type - Digital (DSLR), Analogue (film), mobile phone, instant etc. There will be a number of members who will be using medium format analogue cameras inlcuding Twin Lens Reflex (TLRs) cameras. So dust off your Rollei, Yashica etc.

Meeting time : 8.45am

Meeting location : In front of the V-line ticket office (close to the corner of Collins and Spencer Sts) on the ground floor.

Please bring a tripod and release cable if you choose to use medium format cameras. Please dress for the weather of the day.

We will leave on the 09.02 train from Southern Cross station that gets into Bendigo at 11.03.

The service stops at Footscray and Sunbury to pick up passengers. The time of the return train will be up to individual members as there are trains leaving every hour. You might consider taking an earlier return train and stop off at an intermediate station (eg Castlemaine) and take some more pictures. Then you can hop on the next train back to Southern Cross.

This will be a standard train trip with vLine at myki off peak prices - $43.68 full fare or $21.84 concession. This also covers the trip to and from your metropolitan train station. Your myki can be used on Bendigo buses but not the Bendigo Tramways.

Those of you with concession vouchers from the state and federal governments can use one of them and have free trip. But get you have to convert the voucher to a ticket and you should do this before Sunday. You can cash in your voucher for a ticket at premium stations around Melbourne.

Details including timetables and maps can be found in a Dropbox folder.
