A photography exhibition by senior members of The Melbourne Camera Club, as the Club’s contribution to SENIORS WEEK.

Photography is a wonderful recreational pursuit for seniors.

Taking photos and sharing them with family and friends can be a great interest.

Whether you travel, or take photos in our city of the people, events or places that interest you, or if you confine your photography to the garden and photograph flowers, birds or pets or try some macro photography with insects and bugs; photography is a wonderful way to occupy your time.

And what better way to get more involved with photography or learn about photography than by joining a camera club, where you’ll meet new people, socialise, and take photos and show your photos in an environment of like minded people.

During SENIORS WEEK 2018, the Melbourne Camera Club is holding an exhibition of photographs demonstrating how much fun photography can be, and what a wonderful interest it can be, when one no longer participates in paid employment.

You don’t have to be a Senior to attend the exhibition, everyone is welcome. Bring the whole family. It’s is free to the public and we will even give you a cup of tea or coffee. The exhibition will be held in the upstairs gallery of The Melbourne Camera Club, cnr. Ferrars and Dorcas Streets, South Melbourne. Closest access by public transport is by tram no. 96 alighting at stop no. 127,  South Melbourne Market.
