MCC YouTube Channel now online
Upon request by a number of members, Patrick has now created a YouTube channel for the Club to present Club-related works, event documentation, presentations, etc.

It can be found at http://www.youtube.com/user/MelbourneCameraClub and if you have any material of interest, please email the URL to http://www.melbournephoto.org.au/club-contacts/mcc-youtube-channel-administrator.html

Please note that the channel is meant to collect references to videos already on YouTube, for which the respective authors have full access and responsibility, rather than to actually host any such content. So all we need is the URL, please do not send video files.

Also, while it may well be of interest in the longer term to build up a list of interesting links to external videos, right now the focus is on Club-related information, like AVs that were shown or submitted, recordings made at Club events, and similar. (Your Website Content Coordinator thanks you for sticking to the same sort of rules when posting on the website - should anyone ever feel drawn to do that, that is.)

On that note, posting a YouTube video in an article on the website is as simple as adding the ID within two markers like so:

The actual text entered in order for the video to show up is this: {youtube}4H0bVtZN9aY{youtube}

Thanks to Carolyn Buckley for sending us the URL of her AV on YouTube for inclusion. Visit the MCC YouTube channel for more, and drop us a line with a link to your own works!

We are looking forward to your participation, feedback, and support!
