After more information on returning images, as well as the names of previous models for when you're preparing your images?
The Melbourne Camera Club Portrait Group works with Models on a Time For Prints basis. As part of participating in the in the portrait group, photographers are requested to return images for the models in a timely fashion - ideally to the next month's portrait group. CDs and DVD's of images will now only be accepted if they clearly have the following information on them: - A disc for EACH model or group of models (eg a band or dance group would be a group)
- The model's name & the month of the shoot (see here for a list of previous models)
- The photographers Name (and phone number or email if you're a happy for model to contact you).
- CDs or DVDs MUST be in a cover sleeve or case.
Prints should also be returned in an envelope with cardboard to stiffen the package. We're also putting together a number of tips on how you should have your images on the discs... for example, models won't normally be able to access RAW files, so you should include JPGs on the disc so they can view them.
