The Melbourne Camera Club's monthly competition rules were revised in December 2011 for competitions beginning February 2012. The updated PDF document link below contains the rules for both print and EDI competitions.

Please note these points:
Print size
- Prints entered in the "Set-subject", Open "A" or "B" grades are limited to a maximum mount size of 50.8 x 40.6 cm (20 x 16 inches);
- Prints entered in the "Novice" grade are limited to a maximum mount size of 25.4 x 20.3 cm (10 x 8 inches).
- Prints entered in the May 2012 "Set-subject" competition of Panorama are an exception to the above rules. In this instance, the mounted print must not exceed 320 square inches (2062 sq cm), and the long side must not exceed 30 inches (76.2cm).
Submission of entries to Print and EDI competitions
- The same image may not be entered in both the Print and EDI competitions in the same month;
- An image may not be entered in any monthly competition if it has received a Commended or Highly Commended Award in any previous monthly competition.
